The company's patented technology allows for commercial scale alkali metals production in just 18 months, utilizing green processes in the extraction of specific alkali metals from brine that do not involve chemicals and recycle 94% of water used. ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Chemical Application Field Engineer is a full-time on-site role located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Chemical Application Field Engineer will be responsible for managing technical support for projects, spearheading solution identification, and managing analysis and estimations of proposals utilizing expertise in chemical and process engineering. This Engineer will collaborate with teams on site, labs, vendors, and internal stakeholders to lead the technical sales process.

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Our Client’s Operations:

    • Work alongside field team to document, standardize, evaluate alternatives and troubleshoot operational matters.

    • Help in the development of processes to increase efficiency and to optimize Our Client’s technology

    • Engineering Data Control. Working and organizing SolidWorks to AutoCad files.

    • Working with third party engineers and labs to implement changes and improvements.

    • Compile and update specifications.

    • Collaborate with finance/purchasing on technical topics.

    • Creating BOM out of drawings

  • Provide Techno-commercial support for sales activity:

    • Assist in cost estimations for new opportunities.

    • Support proposal preparation submittals and layouts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degreed Chemical Engineer or Process Engineer

  • 5-8 years experience.

  • Technical Support skills

  • Background in Mechanical Engineering a PLUS

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach

  • Background in Water-treatment is a PLUS

  • Background in Production Equipment is a PLUS

  • Expertise in designing, optimizing, and managing chemical processes

  • Expertise in Full Project Lifecycle, i.e., from concept through implementation

  • Familiarity with bulk media beds is a PLUS

  • Familiarity with Mass Balance Modeling

  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop practical solutions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize.

  • Skilled in relevant computer programs

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary:  $150K--$175K+ DOE
